Heart4Data

This fellowship call is part of the efforts of the Heart4Data consortium. Heart4Data is funded by the Dutch Heart Foundation and ZonMw, and is supported by the Dutch CardioVascular Alliance (DCVA). In this consortium, the Dutch Heart Registry (NHR) is working with other DCVA partners to create an infrastructure for registry-based research.

The DCVA is a network organisation of twenty-four partners, active in the cardiovascular field. Patients, scientists, healthcare providers, research funders, policy-makers and industry together are committed to making research results benefit people with cardiovascular diseases faster. The joint goal of the DCVA partners is to reduce the burden of disease for cardiac patients by 25% by 2030.

This is what the studies by Qingui Chen, Kevin Veen and Kimberley Hemelrijk will contribute to. We look forward to their results!
